Ibanez collaborated with Tosin to get his ideal specs for the guitar including: basswood body with a figured maple top, slim 5-piece wenge/bubinga neck, DiMarzio Ionizer8 H-S-H pickups, and the Ibanez FX EDGE lll-8 double-locking fixed bridge – made specifically to handle and augment the awesome extended range of the 8-string models.
