The Airline RS-II is a tribute to the Roy Smeck model (Harmony Roy Smeck Stratotone) of the late 50’s. The unique hollow-body design without F-Holes combine with the Airline Argyle single coil pickups to produce a unique tone reminiscent from many early electric guitars from the 50’s and 60’s. Wilkinson tremolos now come as standard. The bridge pickup is slightly hotter than a traditional soapbar, and the middle & neck pickups are slightly cleaner.
