Ruokangas are proud to present to you the Mojo King. Our new supercharged Mojo version forges together the coolest features of our classic bolt-on models. With the clever steel bridge pickup ring all the twang is preserved even though we’ve added a trem! The Mojo King features include Alder body, Maple neck and Arctic Birch fretboard – all the wood materials are thermo treated and originate from sustainable sources. The tonal variety of the Mojo King is huge – and if looks could kill..
“Years ago my dear friend Hans Elmers from The Netherlands ordered from me a custom Mojo with a few cool ideas. Time went by and our brainstorming evolved into another custom Mojo for Hans. Something about these two instruments stuck to my head in such a profound way that I just had to explore the concept further, and so was born the Mojo King!” – Juha Ruokangas
Ruokangas Mojo King features:
- Body wood: Alder
- Neck wood: Maple
- Fretboard: Arctic Birch

- Pickups: T-style bridge pickups x2 and a SingleSonic

Guitar with rock n roll soul ! Excellent
I have a Roukangas. This is why I rate his guitars as top ones
One of the most versatile and best guitars I ever got to play! And, if you order such an instrument, you have found one of the best luthiers of our time -and- a very nice guy, too!
So my advice as a ruokangs player- geht one, yesterday, not tomorrow!
About as good as they get! 10/10!
There’s some retro/fifties aesthetics to this axe but I would have left out the vibrato and gone hardtail instead.
