The Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster guitar is modeled after Malmsteen’s favorite Fender. Features include an alder body, scalloped fretboard with deeper scalloping, machine screw neck mounting, brass nut, bullet truss rod nut, white/black/white pickguard, original synchronized tremolo and Seymour Duncan YJM Fury pickups.
The Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster features the Swedish shred maestro’s trademark scalloped fretboard. Scalloping means “scooping out” the wood between each of the frets to create a shallow “U” shape. This creates less friction for bends and vibratos and results in more overall control while playing
