The Fano Standard SP6 features an Alder body – chosen for its great weight but ultimately for its tone, Maple neck with a Rosewood fretboard. The body is finished with a light distress on the lacquer, small dings & rub-throughs which deliver a guitar that feels as great as it sounds. All the hardware has been distressed as well – including the custom Fano bridge. The pickups are a P90 in the neck and a T-Style in the bridge which gives a wide range of tones from clean to mean to scream!
This no-nonsense guitar covers well-traveled ground, with a body and neck recalling the Les Paul Special, and bolt-on neck construction and pickguard layout of the Telecaster. Sonically it spans the best of both worlds and offers uniquely tasteful tones all its own.
