The Esoterik LK27 Baritone combines a five-piece Maple and Walnut neck secured between a lightweight (carved top/concave back) Swamp Aash body, 24 easily accessible jumbo stainless steel frets on a Rosewood fretboard with Rosewood binding, 27” scale length, 3mm centered pearl dots and glow-in-the-dark side dots on a 16” radius board.
The LK27 comes loaded with Seymour Duncan JB/59 pickups, a TonePros bridge with string-thru body, a GraphTech nut and Gotoh 510 mini tuners. It comes with one master volume, a five-way selector switch and a killswitch.
Why choose a 27″ scale length baritone guitar? If you don’t want to go with a 7 or 8 string guitar because you prefer the feel of a narrower 6 string neck but you like drop tuning, then the LK27 is perfect for you! The 27″ scale length increases the string tension which gives you a perfect feel, balanced tone and proper intonation when using low tunings. The LK27 can comfortably handle any standard tuning but it truly shines and eliminates any unwanted floppy string buzz when drop tuning to B or lower.
