Caparison introduce the JSM – the long awaited signature model of Joel Stroetzel, of Killswitch Engage. The headstock design of the JSM is the same as an Caparison Angelus but the neck has the profile of a TAT model. Through-body stringing has been incorporated to cope with down tuning and heavier gauge strings. The tailpiece has also been very finely adjusted for the tension of each individual string and the bridge pickup position has also been adjusted to produce a richer sound. Hipshot locking tuners and a Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut are included for their tuning stability in harsh stage environments.
Joel presented Caparison with a body shape concept that was a fusion of the TAT and Angelus models, the end result is a body shape that is unique to the JSM.
