The Ibanez KIKOSP2 is based on the S series but has a thicker, Poplar body with a special deep cut lower horn and a Flamed Maple Art Grain top. It has Ibanez Infinity R pickups in an HSH configuration. The Maple neck has a 24-fret Rosewood fretboard with offset dot position markers and a special KIKO Brazilian native inlay at the 12th fret. The KIKOSP2 differs to the KIKOSP because it has a double locking tremolo instead of a standard synchronized tremolo design and it comes in the new Transparent Red Burst burst finish. This model is available only in select markets, including Loureiro’s native Brazil.
