The Born Classic Series MG Drop is designed to give you the best bang for your buck while still enjoying the quality. Each piece of wood is carefully selected with your style & tonal goals in mind. High energy transfer, superior sustain & road worthy durability. You can work with their expert luthier to select the perfect combination of woods suited to your playing style and desired music genre(s).

The pickups, as on every Born guitar, are proprietary creations hand-wound by New York–based expert luthier Mike Snider. You can choose from Singlecoils, Humbuckers, P90’s & Lipstick pickups in a variety of tonal flavors & finish options. (Piezo & Active Systems also available).

Based in the Rocky Mountain foothills of Colorado, Born Custom Guitars source their tonewoods exclusively from suppliers that practice sustainable harvesting and use reclaimed and salvaged lumber whenever possible. The company also donates a percentage of profits to reforestation efforts, purchases carbon offsets, and even plants a tree for each instrument it builds.
