Reverend Guitars announce new Shade Balderose Signature model SB-1 – named after the guitarist from hardcore/metal/punk band Code Orange. The Shade Balderose SB-1 is based on the Reverend Bayonet from 2013 — with a few special features as specified by Shade Balderose…
The Reverend Shade Balderose SB-1 Signature is a sleek machine armed with Railhammer pickups and meant for the terrifyingly brutal, complex tones of Shade’s band, Code Orange. The aerodynamically evil slim body leads into a solid set neck with plenty of upper register access, ending with a reverse headstock.
The Reverend Shade Balderose SB-1 features a body made from solid Korina (also known as White Limba) – a highly resonant wood used on all Reverend instruments. The neck is 3-piece Korina with an Ebony fretboard and 24.75″ scale length. The pickups are Railhammer humbuckers – a Chisel in the neck position and a Hyper Vintage in the bridge. The controls feature a passive Bass Contour roll-off – great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. The nut is made from “Boneite” – a synthetic bone nut.
